Join us for a GOUP Vancouver networking lunch at East is East in Kitsilano.
Come connect with Vancouver's Azerbaijani community over a relaxed meal. Meet new people, catch up with familiar faces, exchange ideas, and build personal and professional connections. Many of us work in tech, and people from all professional backgrounds are welcome. Whether you're already part of GOUP or joining us for the first time, we'd love to see you.
When: Saturday, November 7, 2026, 1:30–3:00 p.m. (Vancouver time)
Where: East is East, 3035 West Broadway, Vancouver
The food: East is East serves dishes inspired by the Silk Road. Its Chai Feast is an all-you-can-eat-style tasting menu: start with two mains, soup and salad, served with bread and rice, then order more of your favourites or try other dishes throughout the meal. Vegetarian and vegan options are available.
Cost: Meetup admission is free. The Chai Feast lunch is CA$35 per person. Everyone pays for their own meal, drinks, taxes and gratuity.
RSVP: There are 13 guest spots, for a total party of 14 including the host. Registration closes at 12:30 p.m. on November 7, one hour before the meetup. Please RSVP so we can plan the table size.
